First of all, we will focus on the enthusiastic and ambitious youth in Molo. They do not necessarily need to be willing to start a business. Also they don’t need have past in higher education. But they do need to know something about the vocation they want to grow in before starting with our education. We aim at men and women that are aged between 18 and 25 years old, that live in Molo and the surrounding area.
We will start on a very small scale to get to know the people and can build up a relationship of trust. This means that a part of our project will be to organize events to get to know these people, and bond with them. Getting to know people is important to us. We do not want to focus only on ‘producing’ jobs, but also on changing the lack of the social cohesion and to inspire them. We want to bring the different tribes together. We do think that is an inherent part of the project, since it is part of the cause of the problems which will be described in the next part.
In order to enlarge the impact we have on the development in the area, we will explore the viability of a business school in which the young entrepreneurs are taught how to start their own business. We are thinking about the option of setting up a incubator for start-ups. We will organize, facilitate and manage it, but local professionals will teach the the actual skill.
